We’re Built Different
We’re built different – by design. Our mission is to transform adversity into purpose through faith, movement, and modern healing.
We unite adaptive and neurodiverse athletes, coaches, and communities to prove that resilience has no label. From track lanes to wheelchairs, from trauma to triumph, we show that healing begins where the world says it ends.
Through fitness, education, storytelling, and ministry in motion, we help people rebuild the body, renew the mind, and reconnect to God’s design – one breath, one rep, one believer at a time.

Our story Together
The All Gas No Brakes movement was founded by two friends who lives took very different turns – and led to the same truth: the body and spirit are designed to adapt.
Demonstrating their drive at competitions and workouts, and through a commitment to involve and motivate others, Trent and Cecil inspire athlete at all levels what can be possible.
One was a track athlete who lost his legs but found his voice. The other, a dyslexic entrepreneur, father, athlete and coach, nearly lost his life but discovered faith through breathwork and purpose.
Together, they’re building something bigger than sport – a community where adversity becomes innovation, and healing becomes legacy!

Let’s Get Weird

Trent Spratlin
Trent Reed Spratlin grew up in Clayton County, Georgia — dyslexic, strong-willed, and raised by a single mother. They survived an abusive, alcoholic father and experienced a period of near homelessness during her divorce.
Diagnosed with a form of Lou Gehrig’s disease as a child and later injured in a high-school car accident that ended his athletic prospects, he learned early that strength isn’t about what you avoid — it’s about what you overcome.
He went on to help pioneer early streaming technology that changed how ministries and media share messages of faith. Later, a life-threatening infection reignited his belief in holistic healing, breathwork, and faith as medicine.
As a state-champion 10U softball coach Trent continues to mentor young athletes to lead with respect, faith, and resilience.
Rest is to rust. Let’s get weird. Built Different.

Cecil Williams
Cecil Williams, born in Chattanooga Tennessee, is an adaptive athlete, mentor, and living example of what it means to be Built Different.
A former track star, Cecil’s life changed after a high school car accident and a later diagnosis of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) — a degenerative nerve condition that slowly took his mobility. But it never took his drive.
Refusing to let Western medicine define his limits, he rebuilt himself through movement, faith, and breathwork. Now a competitive adaptive athlete, Cecil embodies resilience — training daily, coaching others, and showing that strength isn’t about what you lose, but how you rise.
He and his partner share a mission: to prove that ‘different’ is not a weakness, rather it is a blueprint for greatness.
Built Different. Moving Forward. Let’s Get Weird.
